Mississippi Assistance Center (MAC)

The MAC was originally called the MACH (Mississippi Assistance Center for Hearing Loss) but was combined with the Low Vision Clinic (LVC) to establish the Mississippi Assistance Center (MAC) in the year 2020.  The MAC was established to be a resource for families and school districts seeking services for children with hearing loss.  The MAC is staffed with a full-time audiologist to assess and support students at MSD and students throughout the state by appointment only.

MAC Support Services for MSD

  • Hearing Assessment Services from an Audiologist
  • Community American Sign Language (ASL) classes

For more information about the MAC center, please contact Myisha Jenkins at mac@msdbk12.org  or (601)984-8222.
